Interesting how well the 308 and 911 have aged vs. the other cars in the scene. Most of the other cars look horribly outdated.

I still have never seen that movie. I do have the comic book for that movie. Sigh, someday. ....

For the longest time, I thought that car was a SAAB.

"Don't worry about it, I don't even have a piece of E36 M3. I have to envy yours."
Me too...
Sorry, no pic, but what about the Dodge M4S from the movie "The Wraith" with Charlie Sheen and one of my favorite actresses, Sherilynn Fenn

Duke: The lights are growing dim Otto. I know a life of crime has led me to this sorry fate, and yet, I blame society. Society made me what I am.
Otto: That's bullE36 M3. You're a white suburban punk just like me.
Duke: Yeah, but it still hurts.

Eleanor could hardly be thought of as an also-ran. I think the Montego doesn't get enough credit; the legend is it had tons more power than Eleanor.
My vote: '56 Buick Roadmaster from Sugarland Express. That poor car...
Oh, and speaking of vintage car abuse there's the 1959 Edsel used in Blacktop (you can find it on YouTube).
Unfortunately the whole 60 seconds original movie is an also ran. I was comparing the mach 1 to the 2nd gen bescooped thing in the remake. Guaranteed the majority of car people under 40 dont know that movie is an expensive remake.

Was supposed to be a Golden Anniversary model, but it was a '55, and Olds started making cars in, what, 1897?
From Wikipedia: For 1957 only, the basic 88 was officially named Golden Rocket 88, taken from Olds' 1956 Motorama two-passenger show car.
