The "officer" just left his card. He seemed like he understood this was kinda stupid especially when I told him I haven't worked on any car in more than 2 weeks. I'm going to go on about my business being as respectful as possible and know my rights and ordinances. I've tried to reach out to the neighbors on either side of me. The one who I think made the complaint is rude, never waves and lied to me at our first meeting. The other neighbors are, I'm pretty sure, burying victims under the porch. Strange freaks that keep to themselves to the extreme.

That sounds like a good plan to me.

I was often met with smiles by the lucky pizza recipients who realized their large pie with mushrooms and sausage also came with a side order of zomgawesome at no extra charge.

Every saturday from May to August the Windsor Police Pipe Band (http://www.windsorpolicepipeband.com/) practices for about 3 hours in a field 4 blocks from my house unless they're at a parade or competition, and I can hear it perfectly. I love it, most of my neighbours don't and get really frustrated because they feel they can't call the police and complain because the police are the ones playing.

Regarding the City Codes, most of them state "a building or premises used primarily to..." except the Automobile Repair Establishment (major repair)" does not, so they could possibly get you on that. The "Repair Establishment" does refer to the "Automobile Service Establishment (minor repair)" to tell you what minor repairs are and that section contains the "primarily used to" stipulation so you may be able to argue that the "primarily used to" is inferred for the Auto Repair Establishment as well.

Hopefully nothing further comes of this. Just keep a low profile hope for the best.

Good luck,

Bob

In the words of the cool butler from Mr. Deeds: "I fear you underestimate my sneakyness".
They can't catch me.
