I went through the board posts and found where I'd created a thread, then clicked on my name. I think the Wayback Machine only grabs links randomly when it has too many options. The thread I created wasn't archived, but for some reason my profile was.

Ah, ok that worked. It says I joined 07 Aug 2003 so that would have been when the 2nd version of the board was deployed. My post count was only 644 though, I guess I kept quiet a lot more back then?

I know I was on the old board too. I don't remember when I joined, I lurked without an account for a long time. I know I was reading the board pretty much every day back in '03.
