You must have missed my post about my encounter with a broken high pressure forced main and the not-so-clean shower I took last week.
Mine didn't resemble mulch.
Yep. Some days are just E36 M3ty.

i was rebuilding the main drain line in the basement of the rental house when my tenant(cousin's husband) came home. i told him "DO NOT USE ANY WATER OR THE TOILET"
yup, i get all my pipes test fit, take it apart to glue, and as i'm applying some glue i hear the ominous flush and water coming my way. got the heck out of the way in time at least.
when I was doing construction/remodel work on my Uncle's apartment building, we used to do some side work for the realtor that handled his tenants. We get a call from her about water in a basement. Go there and we can smell it... the foreboding smell of effluent on the loose. We open the basement door and it is almost waist deep down there... we backed out of that job quick. Seems that the main sewerline out in the street collapsed and they were the first house before the break.. so everyone's E36 M3 from up the street was collecting in her basement
Not human poop per se but the typical waste water treatment process so there ain't no cooties left after processing resulting in a managable sludge, might be brown but that's just how it is. Likely this shipment was going to the landfill when it had it's misfortune and noted publicity. Nothing really to get excited about.
What a joke. It's not sewage, it's biosolids. Composted solids left over from the treatment process. Fertilizer in other words.
Everybody should tour a waste water treatment facility once in their life to truly appreciate what they do, and it can be berkeleying awesome to see what they have to deal with. Never, ever work there, fwiw.
