I recently got a new phone (I had my previous one for 3.5 years) and I'm having a hard time getting call blocking to work the way I want it to. I've been getting a junk call for a while now. I blocked the call on the old phone and that was that. On the new phone, blocked calls still go to voice mail. I've tried two apps (Mr. Number and Calls Black list) but I can't figure out how to stop the calls from going to voice mail (even though the Mr. Number setting said it was set to do just that). Anyone here have a solution?
Thanks,
Jeff
In reply to Jeff:
My S4 has a call blocking feature right in the settings, the phone does not even ring for things on the list.

That is not working with this phone running 4.4.4. I have the update downloaded and am contemplating installing it, though I hate phone updates as they usually kill battery life.

In my experience the updates with phones actually improve battery life. 75% of the time. That other 25% you just have to dig up the offending battery gobbler and disable it or change some settings.
Is it asking to update to 5.1?
