I don't know how to fully use my phone.
It's a Pixel 4a. I have a bedtime mode, which I do like. I want certain people, via text or call, to be able to interrupt that normal quiet mode.
Is there a way to do this?

On an iPhone.
Select the person in your contacts and after clicking on edit profile you can mark them as "favorite".
Maybe its similar on an Android, give it a shot.
Actually you dont even need to hit edit, its there at the bottom:
