he's right, you know. like sometimes when you try to stuff a marshmallow into a parking meter....
just a quick hint.. when buying a home down here, make sure that the owner can prove that the home a termite bond and can prove a history of termite treatments from a reputable company. Don't buy a home without either.

maybe this should read.. Welcome to the South.. Have fun paying for private school!

c'mon, JB, "putting a marshmallow in a parking meter" = "whiskey d!ck". so in that case, yes, Bob Costas = parking meter

margie knows my position and i know hers. that's what makes her comment funny.
Congrats. When discussing schools, don't forget the University of South Carolina and Clemson. (Like football?) And my parents have lived in South Carolina for about a dozen years. They like it.
Clemson is cool, they are like UF 20 years ago-laid back with a cool college neighborhoods and atmosphere. USC is cool also-Spurrier is more fun when he is your coach.
Congrats! Nice to hear that an Angry guy can get a good job in a part of America that isn't withering away. I really hope that medical device thing works out for you too, could be your retirement account. I'm needing pads for my 750Li, does PF have anything for my car a bit sportier than stock pads for hard work that won't make me stain the seat on that first cold stop?
Congrats, Angry!
I'm relocating myself but I can't take the loss that foreclosures are forcing on everyone who wants to sell. I'm about $40k underwater on my mortgage right now. I don't konw whether to mail the keys to the bank and tell them to enjoy it or rent it. I can't afford to sell it...
We're tentatively planning to rent it out and see what happens in the next year. I'm not to excited about the prospects though.
Now Dr. Boost just needs to get a job and the GRM Detroit unemployment rate will keep heading down.

Whoa. There are more of you.
Good job P!
Don't worry, he's nothing like me. He's a fine upstanding citizen with a degree and morals and everything. All he needs is a job and my parents could disown me altogether.
Waitaminit... you know the Hongs and you'd still glom onto their Lemons team? Dude. Show some self respect.

Oh no, I am on top of the reference... my question is why would I feed the meter when Bob Costas will take care of the job for free?
Congrats on the job. Now get PFC to start making Miata pads again, gosh darn it. I loved selling their stuff when I worked at OG, it almost sold itself. The M3 rotors that were nearly the same size as my stock Miata wheels were SOOOO sweet looking (and according to customers, they rocked on the track as well).

Um. We'll be there next weekend. Just show up!!! I'd post a pic of the car so you know what to look for, but...well...you know. PM me if you're already in the Cackalakas.

AngryCorvair wrote: thanks everybody! what made me stand out from other candidates was my brake component article from the June '08 GRM. they were really into having someone who had both the understanding and the ability to communicate. and to Joe Gearin, I say in my best Meat Loaf voice: [ML] two outta three ain't bad [/ML] i'll have to talk to the wife about the first P.
Hey, that reminds me. Weren't you going to have another story to me a couple of weeks ago?
You'll need to log in to post.
