Guy stopped here last week and asked if I wanted my driveway asphalted, left over from construction job. Quoted me $20 sq. ft. installed, will grade and roll. Only thing was they had to install that day. My driveway is over 100' long so not ready to jump into that yet but I would consider getting my roughly 20 x 20 parking spot done. I kept the business card for future consideration.
Anybody ever deal like this? Is that a decent price?
TIA

Sounds like a typical "gypsy paver" scam:

We had part of our lot done at an old job that way. It wasn't great but it was better than the mud we we were working in.
Googled the company and they're real, have website, about 45 mi. from here and advertise they do work in this area.
Old GFs brother worked for a local asphalt co. and said they could get me left overs too. Never followed through though but they were going to do their parents place like that. Bet they got a good job when their son did it.
Wonder what kind of job they'd do for $2/ sq. ft. tho.
Gypsy. They used to bang the old lady next door to me; promise a driveway and deliver used motor oil. Cut a tree down for $300, nicked some limbs off and took off.
Ask for a business card or BBB ID, see how fast they scoot.
the gypsy's run seal coating near me - low profile tanks in the back of an unmarked truck. Smells like paint when applied.
