HKS is closing its US operations this August. HKS Japan will still sell parts to the US but anyone who buys from them can expect higher prices, longer waits, and fewer perts for non-Japanese cars. Yeah, their parts were expensive and they helped encourage ricers, but they were well-engineered and high quality.

You can count me in as someone who refuses to buy cheap Chinese knock-offs from fleaBay.
I have quite a bit of HKS stuff, but HKS USA customer service sucked anyways. If i had questions or needed to contact them, i just went straight to Japan. (overnight, y0!)
I'll deal with a price hike and continue to buy HKS over "Greedy."
Great! Now where will I buy license plate frames from??
Good for them, they deserved it. Poorest customer service I've ever encountered.

Contact Japan instead.
This is probably why they are closing down. Japan thought "Well, we are dealing with the US calls anyway..."
I love my HKS exhaust. I never dealt with customer service once I handed them my hard earned $1,500.
Never used any of thier stuff.
I refused to believe that a $1500 HKS exhaust was $1100 more in performance than a guy at a muffler shop with mandrel bent tubing.
