If I find a cheap enough one, I'm definitely buying a donk.
You can get donks sub $1000 all day long in Detroit, minus the wheels. If fuel were cheaper I'd buy one and add AT truck tires and a lunchbox locker, ultimate urban beater.
Every time I see one my brain goes "you know, with some mud tires, that'd be pretty cool......"

I did notice that there was a "rentawheel" and a "rent and roll" in Daytona. I guess that is the market?????
One time when I was bored, I walked into one of those places and asked what their rates were to rent a set of Kumho Victoracer V700s for the weekend just to see their reaction. They didn't get it.

I have to wonder if the Chevy S10 4WD front suspension would be a simple bolt on with a G-body, as I get the impression the front frame rails are the same. That could be the perfect recipe to take a donk 4-wheeling.

I gotta give credit where credit is due... The paint on the original car is amazing.
I mean, if it had some nice 17's on it, that car would just be transformed into a nice cruiser.

I agree, nowhere near as offensive as most.
