Many many years ago I was going through airborne school. During a jump one of the females (a real cutie who didn't top 105 lbs) jumped early in the stick but didn't weigh enough to fall gently to earth the way the rest of us did. Somehow she got caught in a thermal and just hung out at 1,000 feet. Amusing until the plane circled around to drop the next stick and she was in the flight path of the same C-130 she had exited.
Plane diverted and she eventually made it to earth. We all laughed, the Black Hats laughed, she did push-ups.

Heh, I had a friend called Tiny (of course) who started Airborne school. The instructor took one look at him and said "You're going to be the last one out of the airplane, and the first one on the ground to get shot at." He did well enough at the preliminary training, but ultimately decided to, uhh, pursue a different branch because of that.
