Any Dallas area GRMers? Question for ya'll

I'm in Dallas on a business trip. Boss didn't let me get a rental car...our hotel is 2 miles from the airport so they had a free shuttle. Sucks. I was hoping to get to a Texas Rangers baseball game while I'm here. Who knew that Dallas public transportation doesn't go to the stadium? That's bizarre. Anyhow, I may rent a car on my own so I can go. Does anyone know if there are free/cheap places to park near the stadium? In Philly, there are places a few blocks from the stadium where you can park on the public street for free (if you can find a spot). Any such place near the Rangers stadium?

I don't have much to add other than I was just in Dallas and got a decent deal on Hertz via the Delta website. I paid about $55 total for two days--fees, taxes and all. I didn't think that was too bad for a major metro area.

I'm about 3 hours from you brother. Not much help I'm afraid... Isn't Paul Hutton up there now?

Thanks David. I was doing some searching, and found that Enterprise is running a special...I can get a Chevy Spark for $21/day including all taxes. That's even cheaper than the discount I can get through my work (auto insurance claims). I'll probably jump on that.

I went to a Rangers game last year while visiting Dallas for business.

It was $1 hot dog night I had a great time.

Other than that, I've got nothing....
