Specifically Morse Hy Vo chain stuff? Teh int3rw3bs are loaded with chain info but sprocket info is sadly lacking. I need a 3/4 wide sprocket in the 51-53 tooth range, 3/8" pitch, prefer it to be an outside guide type. I really need dimension information and hopefully a pic before plunking down my cash.
What type of hub (flat plate, hub on one or both sizes)? Bore and keyway specifics?
I have some old morse books that have all of this info.
Prefer a flat plate with no lightening holes, hub bore and keyway not important. In true GRM fashion it's gonna get the crap machined out of it. Like these, but bigger:
The center has to have enough meat to allow for a 4.106 hole to be bored through it, then have enough room between that opening and the gear teeth for 12mm holes to be drilled and tapped to hold it to a diff flange. The OD of the gear can't be more than about 6.5". The chain I'm looking at is 3/4" wide, which I believe is a 13 plate.
How much HP is the go-cart going to have?
I work for the 'lectric company and I thought you meant something totally different.
Which exact hyvo chain are you running? 303 or 304 or something else?
Nothing in my manuals show a hy vo made in 3/4" wide...?
I can tell you that a 57t hyvo with a .690 chain is 6.71" OD. A 42t is 4.195". Empirical math puts a 52t at 5.625" approximately.
I can keep digging if you'd like though, I just need to know the specific chain you're looking at using.
Go cart will have many many HP's.
The chain I am looking at is supplied by Team Aftermarket for snowmobile us, they don't specify 303, 304 etc. I do know it's not the 'silent' type, which requires different sprockets. Here's a link to their catalog page for a top sprocket:

Link to a Dennis Kirk catalog page for the type of chain:
