Anyone able to check out a car for me near Daytona speedway? It's a '66 Corvair Corsa which is supposed to be one of about 150 with factory air. Originality and VIN check would be a potential issue. Rust and the usual issues of a 50 year old car. Basically anything that would make this not a good project candidate. I would have to buy and transport to Nevada.
I'm about an hour south of there, but doubt I can find time to get away. Maybe one of the GRM staff can help? Holy hill, FL is only 2 miles from Daytona.

If you have any questions about what to look for and where, let me know. My car coincidentally is a 66 Corsa with factory air, well, most of it.
I have not seen pics of the car, but if it is painted be VERY suspicious of what is under the paint. Very few Corvairs are restored to a high quality.
