see title...trying to plan a backpacking trip for later this year with some friends, and my first thought was to do part of the colorado trail. not the whole thing, ideally 5-6 nights or so, so I was considering starting in Durango going north and getting off somewhere near silverton (should be 75ish miles). Bonus points for being able to fly in to Durango, uber to the trail, and hitchhike back to Durango from silverton, as the trail apparently runs next to a well-traveled highway in silverton.
Also considering flying into Portland and doing part of the PCT
