In Portand, OR? If so, how did it go?
A friend bought a reman head from them & has been having difficulty from them regarding his core. From what I gather, something happened to his old head while they had it, and after over a month they stated it was cracked & junk, and they could either return it to him or give him $200 and keep it(?).
My friend, being uber anal-retentive, had taken detailed pics of his head before he sent it to them in October. Just yesterday he received "his" head back from them...only it wasn't. None of the casting marks are the same & it doesn't even have a serial number.
The company refuses to acknowledge any fault on their part, and now my friend is out his full core charge as well.
At this point, I told him we need to make a road trip. I'm not sure what other options he has?

And that's why I refuse to pay core charges....
sucks... junk like that doesn't happen with me
not Portland, but Beaverton - did a google search and a few complaints pop up, but there are a few pats on the back too...
It seems if you talk to George directly, and explain it completely.... but not having any direct exp....????

Yeah, that's my friend. He's been talking to the owner since the delays and excuses started in October, and it's just been one issue after another, that don't get resolved until he really presses - except this issue with his old head/core.
Bump. No one here has dealt with this vendor? Are they a GRM advertiser?
They are not advertising in GRM. They also don't show up in our current database, so if they ever did, it's been several years ago.
Ironically enough, the image that appears on their home page has a car wearing a GRM sticker. I'll contact them, and let them know about this thread. Perhaps we'll get a response from the owner.

I am familiar with them Pete but have no firsthand experience. Now that the warranty is up on my Abarth they were about to see a good bit of my money but I think I'll sit back and see how this plays out first so please keep us updated good or bad.
