I just pulled out some old sports cards that I haven't touched for many many years. I bought them new at the time and they are in what I would say is mint condition. I've researched the value of each card and although the average value of each is a few hundred bucks in near mint to mint condition, however the upper PSA levels show another zero, maybe two, added to the value of each.

Has anyone gone through the process of PSA grading? I know there is a notable cost involved to have a card graded. Any advice is greatly appreciated. If the iron is really as hot as it may seem, I may have to strike.

I've had my PSA checked, and my prostate seems fine.

I have some older baseball cards that aren't psa graded and the whole graded thing is crazy and adds copious amounts of $$$ to the process.

Most of my sports cards are 1987-91 ish baseball.   Last I looked not a lot of value.

So, they just sitting their boxes in the back of the closet.
