Yep. I'm in Mesa. That dealership is less than 15 minutes from my house. Shoot me a PM.

Got a few emails thank you guys so much. Dealer has a good reputation and someone gave me the heads up they were good.

I am on the road tomorrow for about 600 total round trip miles with truck.trailer to grab the car.

Beautiful color and look super clean.  Nice score. Send a note when you are in town.  Would be fun to grab some dinner with some other GRMers.  I am about 20 min away in Chandler.

That's a sharp looking car, I had forgotten about them.

Prowlers are one of those cars that aren't super fast (v6), auto-only, that on paper shouldnt be that great.  But everyone i know (including me) just loves them.  They are awesome.  I will have one in my collection someday just because it makes me happy to look at it.

Those are such interesting vehicles - for the life of me I can't grasp how building it ever got green lighted.  Need some obligatory loaded on trailer pics!

In reply to Flynlow :

It's like the DeLorean but didn't need a movie or (that much) cocaine to be popular.

This is my 8th or 9th prowler depending on how you count and my third Inca gold one. So I have owned ~0.8% of all the Inca gold cars ever made. It's 105 outside according to my truck so I am very happy we are towing it back. About a hour out of Phoenix now.

prowlwrs are surprisingly fast for when they were released. Look at the specs for a 1997 mustang GT to compare it against. I always put the shorter gears in mine which drops the 0-60 by about 0.7 seconds.

So that was 12 hours in the car that had hidden damage that the dealer knew about. I am on the drive home now and spitting blood.

car had paint damage they masked, gauges did not work, turn signals not working. Cut in the roof. And worst of all the hood hinges were damaged and that damaged the mounts in the frame.

UGH, that blows. Did you discover these things at the dealership? Or not until you got home? Terribly either way, but at least in AZ you might've used them for negotiation.

Ugh, an auction block special...you know the saying that the worst mechanics have good reputations, looks like it works for dealers too.

I had photos sent and video. They were very lucky or very sneaky when sending the videos.

also the new tires were original to the car by date stamp. 23 year old run flats.

but figured it out before paying for the car and loading. I made a stink because they wanted to ship it straight to me and I would have been stuck with it then. Plus out the 700$ in shipping costs.

Not a bad thing it happens but I got the owners contact info from a friend and he is going to get a earful tonight.

Not a problem, some of te issues were easy to find those were the cheap ones, the deep under the skin issues you need to know Prowlers for.

Had a sleep, did the math cost me 310$ to get out there and look at the car and it saved me 6-7K in repairs on a car that I had no room to make money on. So best 310$ I have spent in years.
