So what determines the price for a full car wrap?  You know, changing the whole car to a matte look etc.

Obviously the vehicle determines how much material and how hard it is to wrap, but aside from that, what other options are there?

Are carbon fiber colors or anything else more expensive than matte color, or are they the generally the same price?

Is one brand like 3M better than others?

Are there options for thickness (i.e. thicker wraps cost more)?

Not looking to get the inside of door jams wrapped to save some money, but what other options are there?

3M is the standard. There are other options, but in my experience you want 3M. Stay away from Oracal for wraps.

Different finishes may cost more. I know that some can be more difficult to install - certain metal flake styles tear more easily due to the metal flakes, but that's based on dealing with "sticker" vinyl. The shape of the car will affect difficulty.

I've done hundreds over the last twenty years, prices are based on how much time it's going to take and what the vinyl is. I usually did prints rather than stock colors but same deal.

Around here it's $4500+ to do a full wrap at a reputable place

my brother got his SuperFast full clear wrapped, and he paid $6100

I was quoted $2900 for a full single color wrap which seems to be somewhat low compared to what others have paid.

I ended up wrapping the car myself with Vivvid Vinyl and did a write up on this forum.  Search for "DIY vinyl wrap."

With the OP having zero post count, I was expecting a (canoe) link...
