Hi
Just wondering if anyone has had aluminum extrusion profiles , or brass profiles made ?
We need to make some door window frames , extrude the profile , then bent an arch in them , add a couple brackets and then off to the chromers ,
There are a "C" section with some flared edges so a simple store bought extrusion will not work , it is about 3/4 inch across ,
The aluminum extrusion is for bumper trim ,
If you have an ideas , or shops you have worked with please let me know ,
Thanks for your help.

They tend to be on the pricey side, but the ease of getting a non-binding quote is great:

we do not have a CAD file for it yet , only an original piece.
I had some aluminum trim made before but that was probably 25 years ago,
the brass profile is our first concern ,
Thanks for the link

No affiliation just knew about the minimums to have something extruded and started googling. (You're going to have to buy maybe 1000lbs of your profile for it to be worthwhile to an extruder...)

Yeah , I am hoping there is a short run extrusion place for brass , when I did the Aluminum extrusion years ago it was 100 pound minimum , but they charged more per pound than if I had ordered 500-1000 pounds which was fair.
Not sure if it will save any money but a roll forming shop might be able to do it.
