Sister had a couple babies fall out of a tree with the storm. Was gonna try and nurse them along. They are both eating as of now.

We've raised 5 storm orphans. We still have a few that come around our back porch looking for snacks. They were all about that age, eyes not open yet.
Don't use a syringe to feed them, you can fill their nasal passages very easily with a small burst. There is a powdered milk we used, I'll ask my wife if she remembers the name. We ended up opening the holes in the nipples to get better flow.
They ended up taking over our Florida room along with our rabbits. I cut a limb off an oak tree and put it on the porch. They were the air force to the rabbits infantry.
After a while they were allowed outside through a window and they would come back in the evenings. A few months of that and they moved out full time. Females will tend to stay close and raise families. We ended up with over 10 squirrels that would be waiting for my wife about 4pm every day.
My MiL is on a list in Maine to care for baby orphans and injured. She has had squirrels and various other creatures including a baby deer.
I can't figure out which part of this surprises me the least... The fact that someone posted here asking if anyone had raised squirrels, or the fact that multiple people here know someone who has raised squirrels.
My son's in-laws have raised a baby squirrel. Visiting them was quite the shock when a squirrel bounded across the yard and jumped on me looking for a peanut.

You were around for the lab-grade horse blood. Are you REALLY surprised at all?
Completely off topic, but remember the water-skiing squirrel from the 80's AFV fame? (linked below)
When I moved to Austin, I rented a spot in a farmer's field to store a box truck. I met the wife one day and she showed me her squirrels. I thought it was cool until she showed me the video of her squirrels water skiing, which I had seen on AFV many years ago. I got to hold Twiggy the water skiing squirrel.

I think that would qualify for a Brush with Greatness segment on Letterman!

Lol thanks! But I've actually not worked with squirrels.
To the OP: It would be best for the squirrels to get them to a local rehabber asap. If you were thinking of keeping them as pets, first check to see if it's legal where you are, but second know that when they hit adolescence they're going to want to be wild squirrels, and they can definitely wreak havoc on your flesh & home if you try to keep them indoors.
