Speaking of mother nature's April fools, I got half chased and half followed by a small pony on my walk home from work last night! This is completely in the city, ten miles from any farm I know of. The thing came running/galloping? behind me, I was thinking there were a couple of little kids with tap shoes on before I turned around

I called 911 because the thing had no fear, and I what else would you do in this situation? I told the dispatcher the closest address and I thought it might have rabies and he told me horses don't get rabies. I am guessing he thought it was a joke and he said just go home. Finally the pony stopped to eat some grass, and I went home in peace.
