I'm driving with the family from Atlanta to Beufort today. It's pretty rainy but kids need to stop every hour and a half.

Is it better to go through Augusta on 20 and 520

or 75 & 16 through Macon and Savannah?

I've been to Savannah and Atlanta but never driven in the south. Largest ball of twine, monster truck museum, airplane museum...anything that's a bit of a distraction or a good pit stop.

Some scenery would be good since I'll wear earplugs and enjoy the peace. Rental vans really should have an option for the bulletproof taxi cab divider.

I16 from Macon to Savannah is the most boring stretch of interstate I have ever driven.

That's all I got.

75 ain't much better.. It's the low country. Ain't much scenery until you get to the coast. Pine trees and sand for miles..
