I said when I started this thread "...wasn't sure if this belongs here or in off-topic..."

What really caught my eye about this deal was that Audi has about a BILLION DOLLARS, "just laying around in petty cash" and can therefore spend it for this purpose. Remember that the next time you go to get your A-car's oil changed and they want to charge $40 or $50 for the service.
