I heard there was some serious flooding down your way. Everyone okay?
Been pouring non stop here today, still above water so far.

Yeah, pretty bad south and east of me (I'm up in the 'burbs), but the rain hasn't stopped. Supposedly, we're in wave two of three right now. I've been at work, so I haven't seen the new pics, but your shot above of 71 is scary....

If that's the case I'm picking the right winter to get the berkeley out of mn.
I just heard that I35 is shut down north of us in Troy, last I heard it was still shut down in Austin. Looks like it's going to be hard to get anywhere until things drain away. I've got a buddy trying to get to my house from Dallas. Everything was pretty much still saturated from all the rain last weekend.
Not too bad here west of the interstate. There was a few pretty high ponds coming home. My wive's car is at the airport. I hope it didn't get damaged as they did close the airport today.
Last I saw at COTA they had tents still set up from F1 that were torn to shreds. I live in South Austin and got pummeled with rain for 4 hours, like a carwash with lightning.
Back in 2010 when it flooded in Dallas, my dad and I had fun fjording an underpass with a rental PT Cruiser. Despite that rounded hood, it's not so great pushing water out of the way. We returned it 2 hours late with soggy floors, white smoke, and every dash light on and Enterprise was THRILLED. Apparently half of their cars didn't make it back.
