Its still too damn expensive, its kinda funny I think, if your trying to sell it price it to sell, don't price it high then b!tch about it not selling.

Your an enthusiast, put it on the various mazda forums around, as well as this site. Your ad on autotrader is too long, I skip down to the end in about the first 2 lines. Use bullets versus just making a run on sentence.

and WTF is up with putting it on there for $4,499 which is overpriced then stating in the ad that you want $6k. You wonder why its not getting sold.

  1. autotrader is for dealers, very few private parties sell on there so I stopped looking there.
  2. I sell several cars a year on CL. Start high and then lower it a bit ($50) each week. after the first couple of weeks put a phone # in the ad. People typically don't read the ad.
If you can put a sign in the car windows and park it someplace visible.

Pricing the car for your market is key, it will usually be less than what you think its worth.

Your price is about 2x too high. The mileage kills it.

There is only ever one reason why something doesn't sell.

It really is that simple.

I'll be honest, I won't even try to deal with a seller who's price is too high. Can't be bothered: I greatly prefer good prices, and then pay asking in most cases. Just one buyer's thoughts....

Yeah, I cut out ads above a certain price point. When I got my E30, I went to look at it in person first. It was a great deal, so I just paid asking for it. There wasn't really any wiggle room and I was happy with the asking price, so I didn't try to squeeze out an extra few bucks.
