Hallelujah!! The low tonight is 28. I actually had to check the antifreeze in the cars for the first time this year. Winter is finally here and it's about damn time!!!

Words can't adequately describe how much I hate that song. At least inasmuch as it's possible to hate a song.

Dominick the Christmas donkey does the same to me.... Just anger. pure unadulterated anger.
When it comes to hated Christmas Songs I'd say it's a toss up between these two pieces of garbage. But yes it's finally getting cooler in SWFL, FINALLY!
Ever since I realized that I may have Raynaud's, I am not so much a fan of the cold weather anymore. Anything under 40 degrees and some of my fingers turn white(r) and numb (usually just my left middle or ring finger past the second joint), and gloves don't really help.
But you know what? Heated seats kick ass.

I hate both of those songs, too, but at least they don't have the whole date-rape / Cosby thing underlying their annoyingness.
Still at seasonable temps in Minneapolis, but they're saying an arctic blast the beginning of next week - highs in the single digits, lows around -5 to -10 for four or five days in a row.
In reply to Duke:
Really? I like it. Their voices mesh perfectly.
Then again, I'm one of those saps that likes Christmas music.

Idk if and what i have, but i know i lock up like ft. Knox in the cold. I don't think it got above freezing in my former home today.
And heated seats do kick ass. I almost never needed heat even in mn with those.

Too soon for me. I'm a long-time Georgia guy whose new address has a current temp of 9 with a wind chill of -8.
I finally pulled a chunk or corrugated cardboard out of the trash and made my radiator block today.
I really need to pull my snow tires out of the basement and put them on, now that its finally cold enough for snow to stick around. Usually they're on around thanksgiving.

My wife has Raynauld's. It sucks. We just got her a new Jeep. If you think heated seats kick ass, you need to drive something with a heated steering wheel. I guarantee that was the one piece that convinced her to buy it.
Yeah! 26F when I got up. I don't want an actual winter, but I do want the mosquitoes to go away for a few months. Hopefully this will do it. We'll see how my rose bush that bloomed a couple weeks ago does with the freeze.
I really like cold weather, but what we consider cold, is just cool to the northern population. We got down to 28 last night. That's perfect for me. The high today should be in the mid 40s as winter should be. Y'all can keep the sub zero temps.

Yes...yes they do. I used to despise them, it felt like someone farted in the seat. But as I got older and became more of a "alternative word for kitty cat" with the cold, I've grown to like them. The warmer weather is one of the few things I enjoy about my relocation from PA to Atlanta. It's definitely cold this morning here, it was around 28 degrees, but it's the first true sub-freezing weather we've had. It's much better than in Philly. You can always tell the native GA folks here. They're wearing 4 layers of coats, hats and gloves just to walk the 100' from the parking lot to the office building.
I had my heated seat on this morning and it was awesome. I do wish I had a heated steering wheel. My Leaf had one, and it was bliss.
Oh, and if it's a Christmas song, I love it. The John Lennon one isn't my favorite, but I'll listen to that one too.
Wow, it's cold! My anatomically correct primate sculpture made of copper and zinc alloy is missing his doodads!
