Everybody is pumped.
Go Bears!
my head hurts trying to figure out who gets the last playoff spot in the AFC .. is there any team that "controls it's own destiny"? as in if they win, they're in ?
it seems that any of the teams in contention for the last spot, not only have to win, but someone else has to loose

Chargers win and they are in...if not, Steelers in.
In reply to Keith Tanner:
It's disappointing because the Bears played lousy in the 4th quarter as usual. They always choke in the 4th.
Packers won Saints won
all is right in my house. It could only have been better if Peyton was put on IR and Carolina lost.

by end of day that was the case … what I was asking about was at the start of the day … was there any team in the AFC that was win and in … regardless what any other team did ?
every show I watched (and I admit to not watching all that closely) seemed to show what had to happen outside of each teams control for them to get in

but they've got their "elite" QB back now ….

I think that was the problem.
Cutler, while not my favorite, was not the problem. Defense was lost all year and it showed today. Injuries are something all teams have but Mel Tucker did not have his guys prepared. Missed assignments, poor tackling, lack of " fire" can all be attributed to coaching. How does a safety allow his man to blow by him without even bumping him? One defensive back said after the game that they were supposed to be in a zone, looked like they lined up man to man to me. Sorry, I'm venting. Lifelong Bear fan!

wasn't thinking exclusively about this yr.
I thought they were dumbasses when the signed him … he hasn't changed my mind yet …
as great was the potential, I thought the Redskins were stupid to mortgage the future to get a QB that probably was going to get hurt sometime in the first couple of yrs

Aww that's cute. That chick should be slinging sides of beef with a boning knife in hand. Also, there should be a tally of Championships and Super Bowl wins in these pictures.
dang it … why can't I make "paragraphs" when responding (via quote) ….
as seen by this post, it's easy enough to do when posting a comment, but I've noticed several time that I can't make it so when responding via the quote button
it all comes out in one continuous paragraph
Unless the Packers are able to draft an entirely new defense in the next week it's all academic regardless.
Edit: Just out of curiosity, what was the WORST Regular Season record ever to get into the Playoffs as a Division winner?
