Howdy, all.
The last time I posted in earnest here was about a year ago. Since then, I started (and finished) my senior year of college. Now the job hunt has begun.
Long story short, I had a few friends tell me Bentonville, Arkansas is the place to be for robotics and automation. Walmart and Tyson are pouring money into automating their logistics and manufacturing (and plenty of other projects, besides). Etc, etc.
Well, I got here a few days ago and they were right. Now I'm somewhat torn between trying to network as much as possible before heading home (Alabama) and getting a crappy 9-5 and sitting tight until I can find something in the industrial automation/robotics field.
Anyone from here or currently living here? Think I could pick your brain? I'm trying to find out who's who (besides Walmart and Tyson) in the tech world and might have what I'm looking for.
