So, this is interesting. I have been on that Old School Mags site the past few evenings. I guess I could turn around and dig out my old mags, but, well, there's stuff in the way.
I just realized something: I'm pretty sure that this is the first BMX mag that I bought: BMX Plus! from January 1983.
I have to look up my first BMX Action. It was Fall of 1983 with Toby Henderson doing a lake jump on the cover. There was a Super BMX shortly before that--I remember it being full of Bandito and Navajo ads.
That SE Mike Buff is awesome. That would be high atop the list of what I'd want.
Wait...wut...all this time, I thought you were talking about a xxl frame with a 22" top tube...22" wheels is a thing? So, I just read an interview about the genesis of that S&M 22" frameset, and now I'm totally interested. There may be a build thread in my future...

Yes, 22-inch wheels. I'm a convert.

This just in: The guy behind the 22-inch BMX community will soon be selling parts as well.
You can see his store here.
I miss my BMX days. As far as the best BMX video.... Has to be Props Road Fools #1, for this one simple reason..

Aaaaaaaaaah! I was grousing about my inability to get a copy of Rad, and my friend sent me this link. Soon I will be reminded of just how terrible this movie is, and I will love every minute.
As a refresher: a moment from Rad

I'm WAY behind on Family Guy, but they played "Thunder In Your Heart" on an episode from last year and I was like "that's from RAD, isn't it?!" Shazam proved me right.
In reply to Ransom:
Wow, I forgot just how bad that was! I will definitely be watching it this weekend.

I loved the Road Fools series. I was subscribed to Props Video Magazine back in the day. It was great.
I still have a couple boxes of them on VHS in the basement. If only I had a working VCR to play them.

Yeah, I have an untold fortune tied up in plastic bricks with Props labels on the front...Man, Gonna have to spend another small fortune getting them converted to digital. HAHA, even when youre not riding everyday (or every month ) anymore, BMX is an expensive passion lol!1!
