Best tailights ever?

I was always fond of the lights on the Lancia Fulvia Coupe

Sedans weren't the only 850 that had their lights robbed.

How could I forget one of the reasons I like the 2nd gen RX-8 so much...I love the tail lights on my car.

I do prefer the blacked out version on the Japanese Spirit R though.

I drove behind a Lamborghini Huracan a few weeks ago. I really like how the taillights are integrated into the rear vent design.

for a modern appliance the sonata hybrid taillights are pretty cool. seems like a really minor detail to add those little reflectors in there for a really unique look.

funny how many Italian tail lights there are on this thread.

You might also fine the Fiat 124 Coupe had it's tail lights stolen too.

Negative ghost rider, have had my gaskets and the whole assembly's both replaced and am working on another reseal/replacement on my 2010.

Wow! Those are fantastic

After reading this thread, all I did was look at tail lights on the way home from work last night.
I came to the conclusion that modern tail light designs are for the most part uninspired.

I might catch crap for this but the new Charger tails look real good.

Never did post pics of my favorite so here they are.

I wanted to take the central round taillight section of the Altima taillights, cut them out and then mount four of them in the tailight panel of my '63 Comet. Love the way the pattern looks from behind when they are on:

I could post gratuitous pics of Trans Am taillights all day, but that's pretty much been covered. Did anyone mention these yet?

My favorite year GTO, the 1969, had a cool rear.

And the 1965 Buick Skylark/GS had cool ones too.

Honorable mention for the '64, because I used to have one.

Another car I used to have that I liked... 1989 Maxima.

I'd love to get my hands on another one of these and drop a 3.5L V6 in it.
