Haven't posted here in a while and I know some of you like this project. The car has a twin turbo ls engine, t56 66-speed manual trans, 8.8 rear end with independent suspension, rear mounted radiator and lots more. I still have lots of work I want to do (particularly body work) but it drives great! It's definitely not your typical biturbo but I've had lots of fun building and driving it so far. The car hasn't been tuned yet but I'm estimating it's making around 450-500hp on 5-8psi right now, I was able to get it on a scale though and it weighed in at 2700lbs with a full tank of gas
Holy carp. I almost think I'd rather have left the turbos off, except BITURBO!
That's flipping cool.

I love that it's still a biturbo...
Awesome
Twin turbo LS, hasn't been on a dyno. Eek.
Love that back end view.
I like the round headlight swap but unless I'm really confused (possible) it looks like the turbo inlets are just out there where the inner set of headlights should be sans filters? This seems bad?

It's kinda like using a leaf blower as a vacuum to mulch the leaves when they go through the impeller. As long as it has one of them metal impellers, I'm sure it'll be fine.
Ok cool someone beat me to it, now i can cross that build off my to-do list

ONLY if this guy brings it to the challenge. Which, assuming it actually has a t56, is unlikely.
You're not off the hook that easy.
Ok, that rules. Like, A LOT.
And the car has MA plates!!!! I must find the owner.
The jack handle holding the hood open and the multiple holesawed attempts at exhaust exits in the inner fenders are very apropos.
I really like the exterior look of the BiTurbo.
I really hate the engine of the BiTurbo.
I really question the interior of the BiTurbo (looks good new, doesn't age well.)
With that said an engine swapped BiTurbo with a stripped down interior would be great. Mucho power and flares just makes it all better. I might even go as far as to make the sacrilegious comment that 2 turbos on a LS might be too much for this car.
What I really like the most of the BiTurbo is that it almost looks to be square. Meaning, the car seems almost as wide as it long. Sure, that is an overstatement and this is hard to notice in pictures but the car really is wide and short. In this case, the fender flares must really make it looks "square."
As an example, the BiTurbo is akin to the size of the popular BMW e30 (which is a car with great proportions.)
E30 dimensions:
- width: 64.8"
- length: 170.1"
- height: 53.5"
BiTrubo dimensions:
- width: 67.3
- length: 163.4
- height: 51.6
Net result, when compared to the e30, the Bitrubo is more wide, less length and less tall. It makes for a tidy little package.
I would still like to drop a VQ into one of those.
I always wanted to swap an Audi 2.7tt lump into one, I felt it would accurately preserve the original ownership experience, but with improved parts availability.
