I didn't know where else to turn. Maybe someone can help. I am trying to send a file to my new Samsung Zeal phone from my MacBook and the computer and phone keeps saying that a Jpeg is an unsupported file type. It says it needs a "BIP" Basic Image Profile. Does anyone know how to get around this? I have never had a phone I couldn't send a mp3 or jpg to.

Back when I used to send files from a Mac to a PC via a floppy, I had to rename the Mac file to include the dos extension. Try renaming the file to name.jpg and see what happens????

I tried that. And I tried it with .jpeg and with no extension at all. With my old phone which was an LG it worked just fine. I just not sure what it happening.

Look on Samsung's website, there may be some sort of sync software that you have to use. All else fails, you can send email to your phone by sending the e-mail to (your 10-digit phone number)@vtext.com

I tried that. It removed the attachment. I there another way that won't remove it or did I do something wrong?
