Saratoga Auto Museum is hosting 16 Bond vehicles c- will be there for a year.
I'm only about two hours away in VT. I need to visit this place. Haven't been to the museum in over a decade.
I need to see this exhibit. I know it was at the Petersen for a while, it looks like they are touring it. Hopefully the Henry Ford will be next.
This shows where my mind is at, first thought after reading the title:
There were/are 4-wheeled versions too:
We got a group of friends together and went to see it opening weekend. No one was disappointed with the collection they have put together. Hope to make another trip when my dad is in town since he introduced me to the campy era of Bond.
Is the museum a full day experience, or a day trip?
It's about a 2.5 hours drive from home in central Massachusetts, so I'm wondering whether to plan on an overnight stay.
You can breeze through it (two floors) 2-3 hours easily. The stuff upstairs, all cars raced or manufactured in New York, doesn't change that fast. One leaves, one comes in; down stairs is totally swapped out every 6 months, but having to pay tribute to Ian Fleming for this, we're keeping it for a year.
You'll need to log in to post.
