If someone beat me to this, sorry. I scanned the first couple of pages and didn't see it.
Dry your tears . . . or not, if you liked the furry, confused, know-it-all. Well, compared to the rest of the family, I guess he did know-it-all.

Saw the headline on CNN that a Family Guy major character got killed off, then saw the CNN article with no spoiler warning. I'm always a season behind, because of, uh, how my DVR works...
Let's see how long a thread about this ultra-political character can stay un-floundered...
don't worry... Stewie is trying to rebuild his time machine...
Brian won't stay dead for long- Seth McFarlane has said that he is his stream of consciousness on the show... it's the character that is most like him, and the one that has his natural talking voice. Stereotypical Italian Dog character won't be there very long.
also: when did Mayor West die? his ghost was at Brian's funeral...
Brian was hilarious, I want to be the only person to ever read his book.
But how is Dick Trickle doing? He's still going strong, right?
RIP, Brian. I'll dedicate my show to you tonight, good friend.

That was my first thought when I read the "news".
Wait you mean they killed off the only even marginally entertaining element of the show?
It was an unfunny episode from start to finish. I'm guessing it's a temporary plot twist done to raise controversy, and Brian will reappear, but if that is the case they are really messing with their viewers.

Isn't that kind of the point of his shows?
I haven't really watched anything except a few shows here and there since we canceled cable, but damn Brian was a funny character.
One of the hundreds of time traveling Brian's will be back....
If not God riddance!! None of his "Woody Award" porno's were deserving of any award!!!!

i'm guesssing that they will have Stewie fire up the same plot device that he used when he "killed" Lois on the cruise ship and became the dictator of the world... and they will explain it the same way at the end, but maybe with a more sentimental twist...
I hope his replacement drives something better than a Prius.
