I have a hard time putting any creedence to those "lists". Why is Business Week concerned with cars, anyway? Next we'll be looking in Car&Driver to establish the latest trends in inventory control, or checking out the GRM take on personnel management. Hey, did ya see the great engine swap article in this month's Southern Living? No, but I did see the one where Martha Stewart showed how she can rebuild a Koni using only olive oil, a turkey baster, and a garlic press....
Having said that, the truth is that people tend to be attracted to lists of all types. Something about them just makes them fun to look at. Go figure.
I remember thinking that the Pacer was ugly when it first came out. But, I too, would drive those cars if I could get my hands on them.

Agreed wit JetMech. The Enzo was designed not to look pretty, but to go fast. To me, it looks like a racecar that they had to put more body on. Not the prettiest thing on the road, but its not one of the ugliest either.
The Aztek, on the other hand, makes me want to puke.
The Volvo 240 and the Prowler!?!? Those cars have secks written all over them, albeit one in a soccer mom milfy sort of way, the other is more like a hot cougar (really has Chip Foose ever designed a ugly car?).
The new Scion looks pretty sweet too, haven't seen that one before...(off to Google)

Id really like to get another one. Ive had 3 new yorkers of that era and despite the turbo they are not as cool as the cimarron.

I passed by the BMW dealership the other day, and something made me snap my neck. "Holy E36 M3, that is a berkeleyin' Enzo!" With those words, I had to go in and take a look. It wasn't for sale, but the guys told me it had generated a lot of traffic. It was waist-high on me (and I'm 6'2"), very well-made, and had lots of cool details.
Though it's not the best-looking car ever made, it's pretty far removed from uglydom.
