I was in the comissary of the local Navy base (and I would imagine "regular" grocery stores have this item, too) and saw Soy Nog. I've never had real egg nog, tho I do like B&R's egg nog ice cream, And I like Silk brand soy milk (the makers of this....drink?) but soy-based "egg" nog seems SOOOOO wrong on so many levels. The holidays come once a year, drink the "real" thing, folks. Just say no to soy nog.
If you rearrange the letters in SoyNog you get goonys. Or Snoogy.
Snoogy sounds pretty good. Maybe a little snoogy and burbon.
I did it all for the snoogy...

I'm waiting for Muscle Milk's seasonal egg nog offering - lactose-free, sugar-free and all the chalky after taste one could want in an over-priced plastic container.
ECM got it right; the real stuff w/bourbon is the only way to go. One too many and you'll start to see snoogys.

You can also get "yo,So Ng" which using a little creative license can be assumed to be 'Not good' abbreviated. Or not. Put enough booze in it and I'm sure its fine.
I have drunk it! I wonder if there is almond nog?
what about rice nog?
Let me see.. google = HOLY CRAP

I know someone allergic to eggs, so others like him may appreciate it.

Soy Nog, non-alchoholic beer, turkey bacon..
Who's making this crap up? Jeez!
I've tried the soy milks and some can be good, but I found out the hard way there are few things you can't do with them.
Your pudding won't set with soy milk and don't even try to make Ranch dressing with it!! I don't know what it reacts with, but what you make with soy & ranch mix has no relationship to anything you 'd want to put on dead lettuce.
I've eaten corn flavored ice cream. Not to mention bacon, broccoli and a few other unsavories. Yes, I'd try soy based egg nog. Couldn't be any worse than the pumpkin flavored coffee I had last week.
i saw egg nog milkshakes advertised at Krystal Burger.
I almost puked inside my helmet.

Does your mom still make you wear your helmet at Krystal Burger? That's soo cute.
...and my first thought was "Why were you driving through the drive-thru with your helmet on? Catching a quick snack between autox runs?". Lol
I plan on dieing young. Trying to save Medicare some money. If it sounds good for you I'll probably pass. Thanks anyways.
Soy anything makes me want to puke a little.
Deep fried butter anyone.

There is no such thing as soy milk. We all know this because there is no soy titty NSFW.
I'm in no way connected to the folks at Silk brand, but having tried their flavored "milks" (they do taste pretty decent) I'm tempted to try the soy nog. I just wish I could have a small taste before having to commit to the half gallon container. That, and the stuff ain't cheap.

Lewis Black is one of my favorite comedians
I work at a 99 cent store and they had a ton of the egg nog soy milk and candycane flovored soy milk too last christmas. No, I didnt try any. lol
Yeah i'd try it. I don't drink regular milk, makes me feel sick. Something about drinking cow puss.
But i do make an exception for Egg Nog.
If Rice Nog is acceptable, then i'll drink that.

+1.
and folks...bourbon only. please do not make the mistake of adding rum to your eggnog. that ruins two otherwise perfectly fine beverages.
I like soymilk fine. The stuff from costco is shelf-stable, so I dont need to leave a whole, or even half gallon in my fridge to go bad, as I dont drink alot of the stuff.

One of my kids drinks almond milk for dietary reasons. We get the vanilla version and I actually like it better than real milk now. Apparently people use this in eggnog too.
