I think this is a good idea. Id vote for it.

Because Post-Amy would be hilarious.

Pretty much the reason for this thread.
THey are just words people. When I say berkeley and you think fruck - it's the same thing as if you read fruck.
If you don't want to read words like whore and goddamn steer clear of any bibles as well. And maybe filter retard, idiot, fatty, douche, cumguzzler, dick, wanker and anything else that seems to imply a thought you don't want to think.
After you have adapted to these new filters - you will be speaking a new language but the message will remain the same.
I'm not so sure that "Amy" should be used as a disparaging word.
I seem to remember the name being more associated with varied and likely valuable services.
In reply to Huckleberry:
Pretty sure this is about the laughs, not the language.
I could be wrong though.
More about the laughs. I enjoy the word filters and the complete berkeley up of sentences and paragraphs they provide.
I want to also thank yo, huckleberry, for a fantastic double feature: a good catalogue of nonstandard vulgarity for my upcoming wrenching weekend, and doonesbury!
I don't recall ever feeling the need to use that word in a post, so I don't see the need for a filter.

Relax. I was just looking for a place to use cumguzzler once before they named a filter after me. Ya know... and maybe shove some Orwell in because I love his ode to language as a control. And... my 90 day self imposed dry run is up so I might be hammered on a teaspoon of Kentucky's finest. In my defense - I raised the first spoon to John Glenn.
As a frequent poster here, even for a joke I'd really like the filter for the word whore NOT TO BE my wife's name if it's all the same to the crowd.
Also like anything, a few filters are amusing, too many and it looses it's appeal.

I apologize that this came acrossed in poor taste. Did not know that that was your wife's name and retract my suggestion. Please don't take it personally.

Dude, no appology needed. I laugh as much as the rest of you sicko's at the Amy stories, I'd just rather stop short of this one. Seriously. Zero offence taken, it's all good.
