This is a LONG shot...
I am buying an engine from a guy in Alberta Canada and am trying to get it to me in South Carolina.
If it can get to Pittsburgh PA or Fort Wayne Indiana, or anywhere within about an 10 hour drive, I will get it the rest of the way here.
Should be about 400# and be crated up.
It would be picked up at a person's garage without a fork lift, but does have an engine lift to get it in a vehicle.
I have 2 or 3 months before I need it here.
ANybody?
Thanks!

A friend used to drive for Mullins, and he was back and forth between Fort Macmurray and the Caterpillar plant in Indiana on a weekly basis.
Working a different job now, sadly.
Also, Alberta is a few times bigger than Texas, so a more specific location would be helpful.
Go to YRC's website and get a freight quote. If you can live with that and you cannot go to the border yourself, contact a customs broker and pay them to clear it for you. YRC will pick up at a residence if you can get it on the liftgate.

Thanks, I'll look into that.
My big problem is cost. I looked it up a bit ago and it was around 320$. That was fine. Now it looks closer to 600$.
Just hoping that people would be travelling and get it closer.
Thanks again!

Seems like Fastenal likes to fill their empty trucks on the way home. No personal experience. I would ship to the nearest border and then drive over to pick it up. Shippers charge a lot go get stuff over the border.
