That is intuitively obvious even to the most casual observer.

Looks like a playground to my 4 year old.

Pacific Raceway, Kent, WA; dates back to the early 60's.

The drag strip/main straight ran along the top of a ridge and the track dropped to, ran across, then climbed from the bottom. Big, BIG elevation changes...........

When I was a lad, you'd never find a photo of a Cobra II in Mustang Monthly.

First magazine I ever subscribed to, starting with January 1983. I still have the first few years worth.

My dad bought one of these back in the day as a left over 77 when the 78s came out. It looked like this one but was white with blue interior and T-tops.

Had a V6 and a 4 speed. Kept up with his girlfriends V8 Camaro up to 110.

We hit a dump truck head on in the coal fields of VA. The car was totaled the only injury sustained was I had a busted lip where he swung his arm over to keep me from going forward.

We called it "blabber mouth" because of the spoiler.

Is it bad that I knew that it was Seattle International Raceways just by looking at the PIC? (Pacific Raceways is a BS name, BTW)

I just saw this in the same thread:

Vent gauges! They clip into your vents and replace the diverter vanes and leave your vents operational while displaying good info. These are in a Mustang.

Who knew 26" wheels fit on a New Edge? I'm sure it "drives like new"

When I was 18, my dad was going to go in halves with me for a first car. One lot we went to had the exact same car except the stripes were red. 1978 with a 302 and 4 speed. Great shape for $4000. Salesman told my dad "You don't want that car. Its a slow POS." I wanted it because of the 302 and 4 speed.

That same lot had a 1968 Datsun 1600 roadster that was red with a black top. $4500 OBO. No dice either. "You need something dependable and can drive in the snow" he said. I ended up with a barebones 1986 Bronco II for $4500 that sat more than ran. Thanks dad
