And another Falcon. This isn't the one, but same body style. 170 six, three on the tree, such a stripper model it didn't have door-actuated lights. Perfect upper body, but enough floor rust I could see the front tires from the trunk with the seats removed.
Sorry for the self-indulgent stream of posts, but I'm feeling...

...Super!
And then I returned to something better at autocrossing:
'84 GTI.
And I feel pretty decent about where I'm at now.
Yep, they used E30 M3s as Ringtaxis back in the 80s. This is the first of two used back then. Someone found it when looking for an M3 and restored it in its original livery.

That's wonderful. Hopefully all is not lost. They could have put threaded inserts into the concrete that only stick up a few inches, with threaded poles. (After all, someone will eventually hit a pole....better to make it easily replaced than to have that destroy your sidewalk)

Why I Brake for Tipi Poles
Note the rearview mirror.
I wonder if they had the required red flag on the poles as they were overhanging the back of the trailer quite some distance.
I actually have a little sympathy for the driver of the white car. If you were approaching this from the rear there would be no visual reference indicating how far off the back of the trailer they were hanging. Approaching this it would look like there was a stack of logs in the traylor and only when you got really close would you realise that this was not the case. There is blame for this one to be had by both. Both should probably be sited.
You can see the red flag near the upper right of the pile out the back window.
There is no excuse for following too closely.
My guess? Camry driving distracted, noticed too late to react. And, unless you are one eyed your depth perception should still allow you to realize how close you are to something. Regardless of where the actual trailer is.

Was hanging out in the garage with one of these today. Really wish I was authorized to exercise it...
