One of my things is to prepare investigative reports for the trial against the mfr.
the plane my dad used to fly back in the 70s/80s up to the North Pole... used to kick buoys out the side into the Bering Straight for the government to track Russian subs...

Bingo!
Edit: That's probably the Bertone factory since both cars were designed there.
yea. Kinda looks like a 308/328 up front, love to swap an Alfa V6 in it, if they were in the States...

Started life in 1969 working for Alaska Airlines, if memory serves. I once helped offload an Aerostar out of that side cargo hatch in Resolute, NWT. I still feel bad about that. You work so hard and spend so much money to get a vehicle up there - and you get an Aerostar.Uh, Keith? I'm hoping that's the pic of the thing in the boneyard, and not what it looked like when it flew into Resolute..although some boneyard pix are cool.
Ha! Yes, that's the current state. 15 years ago, it looked much better.
I'm curious as to why all the paint was stripped off the rivets. It's apparently parked by a research lab at the Ottawa airport now, maybe it's still working for science.

That's why I picked it. I still love it that the Soda Jerk (Andrews) was the officer, and the Banker (March) had been the sergeant. I'll bet there was a lot of social class reversal back when there was a draft.
My daughter cried the first time she saw the boneyard scene (she was 12 at the time). "So, he used to have the most important job in the Air Force, and now he's `nothing'?!?.."

It's actually the "Miata Ray". Same manufacturer though.
