some of the first people to prove to me that front wheel drive could be fun were Saabers
Yeah, that's where I first got the bug. I eventually went VW because I'd just got out of BMWs and love German cars, but my first taste of FWD was in a SAAB when I worked in that shop I was talking about. Still love the damn things. Might actually bring one home one day.

Yep, that's right. Ferrari built a two liter version of the V8.
Yep, with a turbo and carbs, IIRC. All to get around a tax law in Italy.
I had a dream about the Progressive chick.
It was HAWT.

My problem is that when I think of Flo, I think of this one:

The Russian Ekranoplan, air-effect surface ship intended for quick visits to pesky neighbors.
Actually, it's an ekranoplan, there were a bunch of different types. But this one's the biggest and maddest and topped with nuclear missiles. And you can see this one from space.

Actually, that was OUR name for the aircraft. The Japanese called them "Ohka", which means "cherry blossom"

As Francis Bacon once said "There is no beauty that hath not some strangeness in it's proportions" And he's right, whoever he is. I mean look at Kiera Knightley, she is just an ironing board with a face, and she works...

Yep, it was dependent if one was "giving" or "receiving".
No matter how good looking she is, someone, somewhere is sick of her.

I liked it better when I watched Vic Elford put a smack-down on the McLarens at the Road Atlanta Can-AM.
Well, until it broke.......

I used to watch them at Elkhart Lake. My Dad worked corners and Mom was T&S. Great fun walking around the paddock all day.
Remember the Titanium car?

I can't imagine any dream or picture of her that could ever be construed as HAWT. That girl's just plain ugly to the 10th degree, but even so she's better looking than Merril Streep.
