This was the day in 1993 that Davey Allison crashed his helicopter.

I'd forgotten about the pre-crash crash. I remember thinking at the time that he'd probably scrambled his brain in the car.

With todays concussion sensitivity, he wouldn't have left the infield care center, except for a trip to the hospital.

If he had actually just left that as a Nissan I probably wouldn't hate it as much as I do. I will never understand the "it's an X but I'm putting Y badges on it and hoping it will fool people" thing.

And 620 pickups too! Mine was very similar to this one, different wheels and blacked out trim and black stripes.

I saw a guy with a Datsun pickup. He'd put a bunch of 510 suspension components on it, and it was pretty badass.

True story: On my dirt bike I once ran over a little black snake sunning himself in the middle of a single lane black top road. I thought it was a tarsnake, the poor little bugger didn't lift his head to look at me, or even flinch, until I was way to close to avoid him.
