Fender mirrors were required in Japan up until the mid-80s sometime. I've never tried them, but the theory is that they minimize the rear blind spot. I will admit those Z car mirrors are extreme, though.

That's really cool, but I imagine they could have gotten away with half the horsepower if they started with a lighter car.

yea... but then you dont have a huge turbo v12 though...

also it looks like that engine spent some time in an e34 as well
