Went to the local cruise night with the Miata and my friend Chico was there with his first-gen RX-7. It has a rotary with a Holley four-barrel intake, with a Holley EFI system in place of the carburetor, and then a big turbo blowing through it.

Before I looked closely I thought the rotary was in the Miata.

No, my car has a Rotrex-blown BP-4W, although every time I see him he goes "Let me put together a rotary for your car"

So the bugcatcher is just an ornament and not functional? Butterflies are closed and he is on the rear tires, sumpin' wrong there.

Maybe he shot it to the moon. That's the exact moment he got spooked, snapped the throttle shut, and it's on its way back down, with momentum doing the rest?

He was pedaling it. It was the first pass with the new engine that they had dyno tuned in Florida, then immediately loaded the Blazer up and hauled to Kansas without a test hit. The previous engine had been a cammed 5.3L with nitrous and went 10.50s and then they went to a 10-71 blown 6.0L with all the Texas Speed goodies that made 1050hp/1140lb-ft on methanol.

Super Sweet Rebel, but I believe the Machines all had 'Murica paint jobs.
Love me some AMCs

Only the early ones were red, white, and blue. Late ones could be ordered in any color.
