My dad had a white two door '68 "98" for 17 years. We all loved this car. 454 4-barrel - I used to fill the tank and watch the needle move all night as I went places with my teenage houligan friends.
It too had this same black vinyl top.

Actually yes! But it's not mine. That photo was taken when i was in high school and that's my parents garage. It's actually my mom's car. She got it new in 1988, and as it is now it only has 18,500 miles or so, never driven in snow and only a couple times in rain (my mom is ANAL about that car). It's a turbo, 5 speed, lift off top, leather interior. The only bad thing about it is that the dealer went ahead and 'rustproofed' the engine bay, so there's alot of black stuff i've been trying to get off.
