I just checked the format of my photos.  They are HEIF.  I switched the camera format to jpg.  But did not allow me to upload, still getting the red X.

This is what I see. iPhone 14 plus just updated to IOS 18.0.

I had been able to post pictures since the server upgrade, but now today I can't on either iPhone or Macbook. I get the red X error.

Good news *crossing fingers* we believe we found the root of this issue. File size was the hiccup. Please give uploading photos a whirl and let me know how it goes for you.

I'm still not able to post my original iPhone photos without screen shoting, but I can post stolen memes successfully.

Still no luck here.

I tried a smaller size, most compatible type, no caption.  Still doesn't work.

Just uploaded a photo of a sweet long hood 911 from my library in this post...or at least tried. iPhone 13 Mini running iOS 17.6.1, via Safari.

Since I got a Chromebook I've had a similar issue. Oddly my old chrome tablet had no issues finding and allowing Google Pics as an option to upload from, but not the Chromebook. I have to upload from my phone. (Pixel 4a)

I just gave it a try and I am still getting the errors, too. Let me consult with the developer. I think the size limit for photos is still too low.

Okay, we've solved a few photo issues we've recently found.
