Oh yeah, and Ford used the Volvo key fobs for Aston Martins. Tried to hideit with leather but that oly worked for so long.
I saw somewhere on the interwebs pics of Lotus Esprit tailights are looks the same as AE86 Corolla GTS hatch.
There was some low production supercar looking thing that used focus headlights turned sideways . Can't remember the name though

Mine is one of the better ones and has a Chrysler 727 TF, GM steering column with switchgear, Ford ignition switch, and Bendix brakes.
I owned a little bit of a Lambo once...
My 1967 Fiat 850 Spider used the same headlights as a Miura.
That's as close as I'm gonna get.
As for sharing parts, I have yet to see a vehicle that DOESN'T have a Nippondenso part in it somewhere.
My 78 Ford LTD2 "S" had a Saginaw PS pump and steering box in it.. Those are GM parts..
90's Jeep Grand Cherokees also had Saginaw steering boxes and pumps with regular GM steering columns..
80's Dodge pickups had Quadrajet carburetors. There were also a few Fords that had qjets in the 70's, but I forget which ones.

That was the Invicta S1. Used B5.5 era Passat W8 tails tipped over and on opposite sides:
IIRC, the Aston Martin Lagonda used taillights from something. 5 Series? Jetta? Something like that.
While searching for an image of a Lagonda, I came across this.
WTF?

Carter stopped making carbs in the later half of the '80's. That's how the 4bbl Rams and police package M-bodies wound up with Quadrajets. Read a little while ago in the early days of the Quadrajet, Rochester couldn't meet the demand and contracted Carter to build some.
Ford used a Thermoquad one year in the '70's.
All of the Mopar tilt steering columns were made by Saginaw. At least up to the advent of air bags. Don't know about the air bag columns. I wouldn't be surprised if they were sourced from Saginaw/Delphi.
The Saginaw power steering pump was used on a bunch of Mopars. Some trucks got Saginaw steering boxes.
Some GM trucks in the early '80's used the overdrive version of the New Process 833 4-speed.

I have to wonder how it would look with an early '80s Mustang grille, hood, and headlights instead.

AAAAgggghhhhhhhh, No one but Americans trying to sound cool uses the term shooting brake for the last 10 million years. They are Estate cars over there.
Another Hillman Imp one. Damn Escort owners are making the front indicator lenses hard to find as they use them for Works RS replicas 0_MkI.jpg" />

That reminds me of a DeLorean I worked on. The factory plastic head of the key was cracked and the metal part could slip out. When it came out of the plastic, you could read "Ilco Volvo" on what was left of the hand-ground head of the key.
The J-H was a smorgasbord of other people's stuff. Dash 'eyeball' vents and the defroster grilles are Ford, the outer door handles and heater are Humber, the steering column is from some Rover or other, the axles were from a Vauxhall Viva (basically a British Vega), the 4 speed trans was Sunbeam (British Chrysler), the 5 speed was a Getrag (same a s a 2002 BMW), the taillights were same as an Aston Martin, the side marker lights were from a Spitfire but use plinths peculiar to the J-H and they are as rare and delicate as Faberge eggs.

Don't forget the Motorcraft Carburetor and the GM Saginaw steering box...
