A couple of comments that have always bothered me and that happened to me today over my new daily driver, a 328i sedan.
1) "Thats a pretty car" What the hell is a pretty car and if there are pretty cars, a BMW!?
2) "This is a nice riding car" What the berkeley does that mean exactly!

This is a picture of a BMW 507. It renders your argument invalid...
Tony, you should count your blessings. You have a pretty car that rides nice.
what is wrong with a BMW being pretty?
Especially the 3er.. I can see somebody calling the 7 "handsome"
Ease up there Tony, that guy was just hitting on you.
He was more interested in your hootus than your Bimmer.

At least he didn't say, "it rides pretty nice".
Makes sense to me. A pretty girl usually has nice proportions, symmetrical features, is athletic in build and has smooth skin with no blemishes and an attractive color. The 328 fits those criteria and is therefore pretty. As in "you got a pretty mouth, boy".
I'm always amused when people get upset when someone compliments them.

How people price their cars in Craigslist ads drives me crazy.
Car cost $20000 when it was new in 1993.
Current KBB in mint condition: $2000
Wheels $1500
huge list of mods
Doesn't run.
Price: $3500.
No. Just no.

Fore Sale: '91 (undesirable hunk-o-E36M3). Really good condition. Almost no rust. Ran great, would drive it anywhere. However, mechanic says the transmission is bad, and there's a hole in the block. All the parts to fix it come to $467 though, so shouldn't be tough to fix.
